Steven has successfully portrayed the many layers of Mr. Yik with subtlety and attention to details. Towards the end though outwardly a despicable man, viewers (most) find it hard to hate him as we find reasons to excuse his inexplicable actions.
I'm so gonna miss Mr. Yik.
