Updated : In 11/14 news report, Linda says she supports both Steven and Wayne BUT her CASTED VOTE is for Wayne, not for Steven .
Of his 3 sisters, Fala, Linda, Tavia, only Fala cast her vote for Steven. I'm not surprised that Tavia supports Raymond Lam cuz she has always said she wants to win tv king and tv queen with him, but I am really surprised that Linda supports Wayne instead of Steven. WTH? In the past Linda has never once outwardly supported Steven for TV king, and now her outward support is again not for Steven but for Wayne whom she has never even worked with. Well, my image of her took a nosedive.
Votes for tv king and tv queen by fellow colleagues

Steven's 2011 tvb awards nominations:
Steven's weibo reaction to his numerous nominations:
11/10 19:20 This many? Anyway, thank you, everybody for your support. Putting in my heart and best effort into acting is what I must do. So long the audiences approve I will be gratified.
TN:Can almost 'see' the sardonic smile behind his "this many?" question. TVB desperate much? So these are the sweetmeats? But it's too little too late for TVB to reel back Steven, he's leaving the nest, regardless. Interestingly, Sonija Kwok is not nominated for best actress for 7 Days but Selena Li is for Sentinel, and the latter's screen time is so minimal. TVB and its politics. But do please vote for Steven if only to show tvb that Steven Ma fans are a force to be reckon with. TVB 2011 anniversary awards polls
Steven's 8 nominations:
1)Best actor;(Sentinel)
2)Most favorite TV male character;(Sentinel)
3)Best host for variety program; (Apprentice Chef)
4)Best tv series(Sentinel)
5)Best tv series (Links to temptation)
6)Best tv series (7 Days in Life)
7)Best variety program; (Apprentice Chef)
8)tvb.com/Weibo Popularity Award
Note: So as not to disperse votes for best series, fans decided to collectively vote for Sentinel, which has the highest ratings among Steven's 3 series this year.
With my cynicism towards TVB's motive, Steven is put between a rock and a hard place with the egregious nominations overload. If he is absent from the awards ceremony, media and people would say he's being a petty ('siu yan') ingrate to not give TVB face for his numerous nominations. If he attends then he would have to don a smiling (fake) mask and suffered through the whole facade of the awards ceremony, knowing that his presence is only for show, and that he would leave without the most coveted best actor award, though he maybe be awarded the best host as a pork award consolation. Poor Steven! Damn if he attends, damn if he does not.
