7 days comments on epi 8

One of my favorite scenes (besides all C&C's scenes) is the one when Steven unexpectedly caught Joyce with Bosco in their room.  Haha! The whole incident is so fun to watch. Both men just ooze phoniness; Joyce's embarrassment; Bosco improvising, lying through his teeth. Steven good-naturedly going along with his lie. Both men feeding off each other's fake laughter. Made me laugh with them. hahaha! Well done!

The opening scene was funny. Bosco and Joyce are in Bosco and Steven's bedroom discussing the plausible kidnapping suspects, because Joyce is of the opinion that Yuen Wah can’t possibly be him. Hence, Joyce thinks they should redirect their search to other people starting with Bosco's own roommate, Steven. So they rummage through Steven's suitcase, subsequently discovering its false bottom stacked with (?). Just then Steven comes back to find the door latched from inside. Joyce instinctively jumps onto the bed and pulls the bed sheet over her head, while Bosco haphazardly re-arranges the suitcase’s contents and hefts it back to its original spot.

Then he belatedly unlatches the door for Steven, smiling apologetically. Steven steps inside the room and the bulging bundle underneath the bedsheet immediately draws his eyes; with a knowing smile at Bosco he promptly offers to come back later. Bosco immediately flips the bedsheet off Joyce and tells her to up. He comes up with the excuse that he is teaching her yoga.

Wearing a sly smile, Steven obligingly quips that indeed heat will make yoga more effective. Turning his attention to Joyce, he casually remarks that yoga has indeed got Joyce all red and flush in the face. Lol!

Steven says to Bosco: “So you like money that much?” (as to offer yoga lesson anywhere)
Bosco: “Yes, I love it so much that a big S and two vertical lines are etched onto my forehead.”
Without skipping a beat and still smiling broadly, Steven immediately comes back with: “and I would like to have a big Y and two vertical lines etched on my forehead.”

And both men guffawed with the most phony hearty laugh.  haha!
Gotta to say this, Steven looks so boyish with his casual hairstyle in this scene.

Beware the wrath of a jealous woman: And there I thought, here goes again, Calvin and Christy clinking wine glasses, and sipping red wine, when after a sip, Calvin immediately chokes in surprise at it hot spiciness and immediately drinks the soup to tame the heat but turns out the soup is laden with salt...haha.. Christy has not only spiced up his wine with hot pepper, but also as a foresight, seasoned his soup with salt aplenty.

Lol! I’ve never enjoyed a series as much as I do this one.

And the latter half of the episode on the transgender rumor is simply ingenious and very funny to watch!

So who will get caught red handed with a ringing phone in his hand?
........Will have to wait until Friday to find out as tomorrow's episode is preempted by a TVB CNY special program.
