weibo 2/9 Sweet dreams

Steven's below weibo entry was posted to quell the rampaging rumors started by the Chinese wiki site with its 7DIL ending version, which of course, spread like wildfires all over the internet including baidu and weibo. I have not read the wiki ending (don't trust tvb series info on wiki at all) but those who read it were very, very upset (to say the least) because it has Calvin shot dead by Ah Lung, and etc. Furthermore, wiki has 7DIL down as a 19-episode series. Of course, the fans let Steven know of their distress.

2/11 22:59 Steven: 7 DIL is not 19 episodes but that next Friday starting 8:30 pm, its two episode (19-20) finale will be aired! Btw, the rumored ending posted online is not true, what's the truth then? Starting next Monday for 5 consecutive nights together we will, little by little, unveil. ~~~ Calvin

These are two episodes that will leave the whole Hong Kong audience unable to catch their breath (gasping for breath). Don't be scared, don't cry.

Steven: 18:02 7 DIL is the painstaking effort (heart's blood) of Uncle Choi and Siu Tung, and a novel experiment by the company. It is also a group effort put in by an ensemble of actors including Sonija Kwok, Bosco, Patrick Tang, Yan Yi (tn: Joyce), Wah Goh, Ah Hai (tn: Koni), Mimi, Little Bee etc and all other cast and crew participants! Don't say anything anymore about it being in a cannon fodder timeslot! Our painstaking effort (heart's blood), so long the audience like it, so long there are people appreciative of it, it is enough! I believe, what I have is faith! I believe, so long the heart was in it, the audience would see it! See you tonight at 8:30 pm.

15:40 Actually I also like Yik Jo On, this character. Very challenging! Actually, Yik Ji On is a very human character, his inner self is very complex; because of childhood experiences, he has become distrustful of people, and is reluctant to reveal inner feelings; furthermore, his handling of matters is only understood by himself! Of course, if you continue to watch, maybe you will understand his doings! As to whether he is good or bad, tell me when you have finished watching the series ba!


1/26 Leung Choi Yuen: Did you all notice the bullet elevator in 7DIL that when it is raining outside, the passengers inside looking out at the outside world, how being thus confined their moods can be inadvertently affected by the weather outside feeling vulnerable. People are like this, looks very near but actually very far.

TNote: I’ve always appreciated the thoughts, the attention to details and heart Producer Leung Choi Yuen puts into his series to create evocative subtlety and meaningful scenes not just for entertainment but also to provoke thinking.
