Voice over: It's been said that gold cannot buy good relation with people; Buddies get together in happy reunion.

Hostess: Within tv city, others who are bigger built and taller than Steven Ma, handsomer than Steven Ma, better actor than Steven Ma are countless, but to be like him with series all garnering good ratings kind of 'General Fortune of Ratings' are far and in between, or be like him with friends everywhere kind of celebrity are so few that they (the celebrities) can be counted on 10 fingers.  So that’s why these few years in tv city, no matter how intense the competition is, Steven with his optimism and positive attitude still maintains his first line siu sang position.

Hostess: Today taking advantage of his free time from shooting a series, together with Susu (Nyuk Wah jie jie) went to support old friend’s, Chou Chung, restaurant's grand opening.  As soon as he arrived, he began to effusively praise Chou Chung jie jie .

Steven: Actually when I collaborated with her in Healing Hands 1, I thought she acted well.  Her series are not many in quantity but they are of quality.  Her inner feelings performance was very good, and moreover, I enjoyed working with her.  I'm so happy to see her.

Hostess: Ma Zai, seeing that you have such good relationship with old colleagues, can tell right away that you are a very nice and also a very approachable person. I, Chu Mimi, heard that you are preparing to host a cooking show, is it true?

Steven: Today is the first day of outdoor shoot.  This time around is similar to a top chef competition.  This time, pardon me, but I’ll only invite females as special guests. Because the chefs plus me will be all males.  So far, those who accepted my invitation are Sonija Kwok,  Fala Chen, Linda Chung, Tavia Yeung.  Yeah, Sonija too.  Because later she is going back to Mainland to shoot a series, we’ll try to get her to record before she leaves for Mainland.  (Isn’t she going to be married soon?)  It is not ascertain yet, right?  (Thought it will be this year?) Even if it is this year, my program recording will only take up 2-3 hours, that’s all. Will not take up too much of her time.   And, moreover, I think if I invite her, no matter what, she gotta come.

Host: Wah, Ma Zai, you sure are netting all the stars to surround the moon.  Better you not continue to list or else you’ll have all the actresses from tv city.  Well, actually, your show is not just a simple cooking show but more like a Steven Ma Dining Club.

Hostess: If 3-color station (tvb) permits him to host a Steven Ma Dining Club, it’s not impossible.  Actually after all these years, as to whether Steven has real ability or not, everybody knows.  But don’t know why his series are always aired in unfavorable timeslots.

Host: Ai, that’s because he is the General Fortune of Ratings ma.  Not matter how  unfavorable the timeslot maybe, if his series was aired, the ratings could be rescued.   Just like his “Book of Words”, even though its ratings were not as high as ours in Guang Chou,  but the Hong Kong ratings I heard were pretty good.

Hostess: I think Steven as the host for Book of Words is very popular among the uncles and aunties. They all think he is not only very witty but also very learned, and at the same time learned but also humble too.  Just the right person to tutor their kids on school work.

Host: It is because he gives off this kind of righteous vibe so this upright image makes him very red hot recently.   Many charity organizations and groups all sought him out as spokesperson.   Even the stationery factory gave its Chinese brush to Steven to use pleading: " Ma Zai, Ma Zai, can you please use our brush to write 资治通鉴* and tell me if the brush is good to use or not?"  (Sarcasm much? Lol!)

Hostess: The stationery factory is so full of enthusiasm. If that is the case then Steven did much to stimulate the Chinese language and culture development, eh?  (tn: lol! )  Hostess to her host: You keep your babbling to yourself.  But on to the next topic.
