The Legend of Yuan Empire Founder will be aired at 8 pm in CCTV1. Its 50 episode series will unfold the story of the founding of the Yuan Dynasty by Kublai Khan. Hu Jun will portray Kublai Khan, Charmaine Sheh his first wife, and Steven Ma his able minister who assists him in his empire building. Also included in the cast are Tang Quo Qiang and Ray Lui. The series is filming using shooting movies techniques. Truly a very much anticipated epic drama.
