12/9/2011 -- Stephen Chan, TVB GM, has confirmed tendering in his resignation though he didn't confirm the actual date of leaving. Executives require to give a 6 months notice to the company but with his two months unused paid leave, Mr. Chan can quit at the earliest on April next year. Mr. Chan asserts that his leaving has been planned way before Uncle Six stepped down as tvb chairman. (which he did yesterday) Although numerous tv stations have beckoned him to join their company, Mr. Chan says for the time being he is not considering joining any company just yet but still take up a study tour to learn about new technologies to increase his knowledge.
Hopefully, Mr. Chan can help Steven resolve his contract issue before he leaves so Steven won't waste the few months waiting for his contract to terminate in July.
