“Because of you” is a Christian song praising the Lord. Steven had originally planned to compose the song in a folk song style but supervisor Wen felt the singing could be more intricate, so in the end, the song was recorded as Steven doing a multi vocal harmony all by himself (singing a cappella with 40 multi-tracks of his vocal recordings as accompaniment), displaying some of his vocal wide range especially his low, deep bass voice.
