One good thing (among others) that came out of this on-location shoot despite the extreme heat is that the onsite speculators now have a better appreciation for just how hard the crew and cast worked at their jobs. Standing there soaked in sweat, whether in the shade or under the scorching sun, they knew the people out there shooting a scene had it worse than them. Despite their presence inevitably affecting the shooting, the spectators wrote on weibo that both the crew and cast were still very polite toward them.

Tonight I experienced live filming firsthand, just one shot had to prepare lots of equipment beforehand, much time wasted. Steven was soaked through twice already. But unfortunately the spectators did not respect them, their (spectators) quality so inferior. Guess they already left a bad impression. Steven is indeed tall and handsome and very nice. And also very professional. The site was super chaotic but once he took position he immediately got into character. No fate to take picture with him, could only look from afar.
Steven: 8月23日 23:51Thank you for your understanding! Actually the spectators were just happy and enthusiastic. Their feeling, we all understand but I have a request, which is, when taking pictures please do not use flash, especially during a night scene shot or else we would have to do a retake. I hope you all can understand that. We cast are not the most tired, our fellow camera crew colleagues who put in their utmost mental and physical energy are even more tired. So if you all be obedient (guai guai teng wah 乖乖聽話)we would be much happier! Anyway, regardless, we all thank you for your enthusiastic support.
