  1. A touching movie indeed.

Tamaya, thank you so much for posting the link here. I have been searching online for it but with no success and was so glad to see your link.

  2. Think the lead actress looks a tad bit too old for Steven. More like his elder sister. Luckily is just a movie. Not for real. Her face reminds me of Taiwan actress, 归亚蕾. Not sure if you all know she is.

    1. I know 归亚蕾 well, at least my mother does as she enjoyed her dramas way back when. 归亚蕾 is Chiung Yao's 1st leading lady. I just now google 归亚蕾 image to refresh my memory. Anyway, I think 归亚蕾 is prettier than her at that age, and she definitely doesn't have 归亚蕾's 氣質. Sorry to say, but 20 minutes into the movie, I stopped, couldn't make myself to continue the movie -- it was that bad for me. The obvious low budget quality of the movie, the looks and acting of the lead actress (yes, she looks much older than Steven though she is in real life 10 years younger than him, imagine that), and even Steven's own performance. Did you watch the whole movie? Should I?

    2. Ha ha Tamaya. Because of the lead actress, I decided to give the movie a MISS. I just can't bear to torture myself to watch it. If only the lead actress is like say Charmaine Sheh. I would definitely watch it.

    3. Eh Tamaya. Wonder why you only watched it for 20 mins. Boring?

    4. Irene, I felt bad about my previously posted harsh criticism so I've deleted it. Anyway, let's just say I found the movie boring and insipid, and the lines made me cringed -- so cheesy! Jeez! Also, there's no chemistry between the pair at all. Anyway, I'm generally not fond of mainland modern movies at all, and this is no exceptions. And oh yeah, I found the lead actress' bright lipstick very, very distracting indeed. Finally her acting cutesy (pretty unnatural at that) was a bit too much for me so I stopped watching altogether.

    5. I liked the mainland Chinese actress, but I agree --- I thought the film was shallow and vapid given the topic and where it could have gone if it was a well-written story. Total disappointment.

  3. Pls do not mistaken that I'm being naive that I only want to see young & pretty faces. The skills in acting also important. For example, Ms Linda Chung is tall n pretty. But but but her acting in 大药坊 simply cannot make it. Do not have that 女强人 personality. No wonder the rating is not so ideal.差强人意。well well this is merely my personal opinion. I have nothing against her. Haha
