Tamaya: speculations a galore
Per this news report, TVB was the one who turned in Stephen Chan to ICAC for corruption investigation. Allegedly, the whole thing was orchestrated by the Group General Manager, Lee Bo On. (who btw is now the interim General Manger. Before Stephen’s arrest, there was a power struggle between Stephen and Mr. Lee, with the latter getting the upper hand. Consequently, Mr. Lee was promoted as the Group GM, therefore wielding power over Stephen. Stephen with his power curtailed, tendered in his resignation to Mona Fong. And Ms. Fong was said to have rejected his resignation and had in fact persuaded him to start on. And then his arrest happened.) If convicted, he will be sentenced to 10 years of incarceration.
Fortune teller, Si Tu 司徒法正 expresses that Stephen will offend the god of this Year (meaning he is disfavored by the god of this year, therefore bad fortunes will befall him). During the interview he said that he ate with Stephen during the CNY to talk about doing a tvb program entitled “Strange Talks”. "The details are still fuzzy. But at that time, I noticed his aura was not too good. I warned him to be careful of people relation because he is vulnerable to other people's schemes.. TVB External Affair Assistant Manager Mr Tsang (曾 醒 明) expressed in his press conference that as to the rumor of TVB itself turning in Stephen, he asserted that he had not heard of it.

Tamaya: I don’t relish reading the ignominious downfall of Stephen Chan at all because I really did appreciate his sophisticated and cultured public persona. Now if it were the downfall of VL, I might. I also pity all the TVB managed artistes having to undergo hours of ICAC grilling and endure the whole media circus. Their pride & confidence in TVB must be so badly shaken, and be anxious about future in TVB. I especially feel for Steven, just when things were looking up for him. So much turmoil in the tvb. Will it come up stronger and better or will it break apart?
Don't know anything about Mr. Lee. Just that previously TVB was headed by 3 GM. He, Stephen and another. Stephen was criticized for the recent TVB problems esp. with big 4. Also Stephen has been criticized for being too flamboyant and over exposure in media.

That Edthancy is Stephen Chan's 28 year-old personal assistant, who is the guy with Stephen in his apartment when he was arrested. He is rumored to have had a gay relationship with Stephen. How Steven himself was dragged into this whole mess is this HK weekly magazine (mentioned in Steven's blog) reporting that Edthancy was jealous of Steven being Stephen's newest favorite. The implication is that the three of them were in a threesome relationship. A HK steven fan posted that news article and urged Steven fans to email in their letter of protest to the said magazine, and to Catherine Tsang for her assistance in helping to clear Steven's name . I've not email Tsang but for the first time I email my letter of protest to the magazine. We did all this even before Steven posted his blog entry, and before the other slandering reports came out accusing him deliberately distancing himself from Stephen Chan by bringing his gf to the event.
This is a tough time to be once favored by the now disgraced Stephen. Who else will be embroiled in it? Patrick Tang is now targeted by the press to shoot and wound.
Poor Steven, not only was he a salty pig's hand suspect though he is not taller than Bosco as the culprit supposedly is, but now his sexual orientation is questioned again. I think, about whether he would get married this year or next, most probably it will be this year, if only to stop all these speculations.

Tamaya: Steven's angry response to the tabloids' reporting of him during the 7 days of Isolation. 士可杀, 不可辱! The day before, a weekly magazine (the very same one mentioned in his blog) wrote that he was Stephan Chan's new favorite, and that he was involved in a love triangle with Stephen and the latter's PA. That rumor he was able to dismiss with a smile because it didn't hurt anybody but his own reputation. But he was furious at today's tabloids' reporting that he flashed out his gf just so to draw a line between him and Stephen. Now that kind of reporting can be very hurtful to Stephen, not to mention slandering Steven's own character.
So ironic for Steven to be now labeled as Stephen's newest favorite --- have been written as such since renewing his contract. What should have been an advantage now turns out otherwise.
SM yahoo blog: Steven wrote that he could dismiss the slur on his reputation, hardened as he is already by this kind of scandalous speculations on his sexual orientation, but he can not ignore the defamation of his character and honor by the ensuing reports implying that he has deliberately drawn out a boundary between him and the disgraced Stephen. Like Wayne Lai, he was mad to be portrayed by the press as someone who would seek self-preservation by immediately distancing himself from someone he knows who is in trouble. Unhappy! Truly Unhappy!

Very unhappy!
The fact is after being in this industry for so many years, I’ve become indifferent to any sex scandal; how many are real and how many are actually fabricated. As to the weekly magazine’s negative coverage, I was actually not angry, I only smiled, unperturbed!
But today some of the news reports on my response and stance have obviously misconstrued my meaning. But still, they really upset me. The way things are going these days, we really should not make any responses so as to avoid causing injustice to any person. This is a matter of course! The refusal to answer does not represent any standpoint, even more so, nor does it mean a fear of trouble!
The day before I'd had gastroenteritis, even the interview for TVB Weekly had to be postponed. But the new series event could not be skipped. I had wanted to go to the hospital for a shot first, therefore asked a friend to drive me there but could not make it because of the time, so could only attend the event first and see a doctor later. But I never thought that would create a misunderstanding, even to be misconstrued as my calculation to ostentatiously defuse the rumors and to deliberately draw out a clear cut boundary! Ai! I am not this kind of person, ok?
My love relationship is stable, that's true; almost 7 years now. She was worried about my health condition at that time. that was why she accompanied me the whole time. What was wrong with that? I have already clarified my future plan; perhaps some press friends were not aware of it, thus the speculations. But, what wrong did I do?
This piece of entry is written just to voice out my feelings, not to blame the press. But, what I most like to stress is that I am the kind of person who is not fearful of getting involved; or mindful of fame and fortune; or to survive, would live an ignoble existence.
