Fanfic alternate ending to 7 Days in life

Your video brought home to me to never trust videos at face value as evidence.  Your rearrangement of dialogues is uncannily done.  Good job!  I would love to watch

Steven is always cast to play Mr. Nice Guy roles but I've always thought his underdog (dark horse) appeal combined with his pointed nose and sharp eyes would make him much more suitable to play an antihero instead. He finally got to try out this kind of role in "7 Days in Life". Sure enough, he did a terrific job it's just that the drama's finale was a bit disappointing so I remixed an alternate (more romantic) version instead. ~~Story Forest~~
I would love to watch Steven do an all out villain (not the whining and irritable and petty kind -- but that of Kenneth Tsang's calm and calculating and cold eyed with superior intelligence. )   But I disagree he is more suited to playing an antihero, cos' I'm so used to his heroic image.

  1. I think he will excel in which ever role he chooses to act in. He is an actor with lots of Passion. You can tell he enjoys what he is doing. It is not just to earn a living.

    1. True that. Steven doesn't do things half way but goes all out to get it done and with passion. His passion for his work shows on his weibo. His favorite comment since opening his weibo is "very tired but very happy". Lucky are those who love their jobs.

  2. Oh totally! I also agree that he (like any great actor) can play any role he chooses. It's just that (and this is purely personal opinion) I've always seen great potential in him to play an antihero especially the intellectual ones (example from Western culture - Sherlock and Eastern culture - Ancient Lawyers 狀師) where they're still good guys but don't always follow the rules and has an edge to their personalities. But I totally see how he has a great solid good guy image also! I guess that's the beauty of having a diverse and supportive fan community like this, being able to share our own perspective but also listen to how others feel also.

I appreciate this kind of maverick antiheroes but not those who are cruel, jerks, pathetic, petty and vicious with few redeeming values or reasons to act that way.

    2. Yeah, agreed. I wouldn't want to see Steven play an all-out bad guy, just interested in seeing him play a non-traditional good guy, haha!
