8/ 27  23:50 Whether it's 4th Brother or 4th Prince, aren't they all me?  Haha! I am grateful to you all for always being there for me, accompanying me all the way. To shoot a series, how much heart and effort had been put into it by the cast and crew?  Sometimes really difficult to put into words. That kind of exhaustion, that kind of pressure, often times can only let out a sigh to unwind!  In my eighteen years in TVB I have made many good friends, we have had happiness and sadness, have had blood and tears, and together we put in our all to finish a series, lots of hardships but felt the sweetness in the heart! My friends, I will treasure them all.

Having portrayed so many characters, which is my most favorite?  I love Siu Yuan Zi's worry, also love Yik Jo On's pensiveness.  I love Fuk Tao's silliness, and also love Cho Ji's genuineness!   Dor Bo is trustworthy, Ji Yuan is dependable! Married to Gong Jai is not bad, having thanks Wong Shueng will have no worry! But in the end, it's Sing Yat On ba! He, is someone I didn't spend much thoughts in portraying. Because I am like Sing Yat On, Sing Yat On is like me, because he and I are alike, incredibly ordinary....if fated will portray that again.

看了今期在東周刊的專訪，突然有種想哭的感覺！雖然筆者是我第一次接觸，但卻把我的心路歷程描寫得如此清晰無誤，實在教我異常感動！多謝chris!

Re-runs

Wah, lately, so many of Steven's series are currently showing on China satellite tv channels. But then, Steven's series have always been popular with China local and satellite tv stations.  

So far, currently and will be broadcasting:  1) DOMD 1998, Ultra Protection, 2) Ultra Protection, 3) Sweetness in the Salt (btw had just finished airing in another China satellite tv channel)  4) In the Realm of Success 5) Cupid Stupid


Wish they would air Safeguards and 7 Days in Life.  These series were a great hit with Mainland netizens.

8/20 18:26   Thank you for the encouragement!  It is also one of my favorite scenes.  @sm baidu: 4th Brother acted very well in this scene. @严舜明Sherman：From this scene onwards, I was stunned and still haven't recovered from it.  Actors have to put in much more effort in performing a crying scene than actresses.  Lip Dor Bo's crying scene is much more heartrending than Miss Koo's. That rage, that pain, even we sitting before the screen could feel that, very electrifying.

Which series, character first let you notice Steven, and which made you like him and become his fan?

I first notice Steven when I watched Healing Hands 1 in 2006 and thought his Dr. Joe was so naturally portrayed and of course so very cute.  But it was Better Halves who made me look up more of his series to watch, starting with On the Track or Off where his Gam Yuan was just brilliant, (didn't know then it was his first male lead), Where the legend begins, Perish in the name of love, and Brink of Law, Safeguards.

Actually, after HH1, I watched Land of Wealth but had overlooked Steven due to his limited screen time but thought Cheung Shun Man this actor was very handsome but did not connect him with Dr. Joe.  But because I was so bored with MC's lackluster performance I stopped half way. Honesty, Moses' wooden and stiff performance spoiled the series for me and his Qing look did not help matter, though I did enjoy the story once I watched it with patience.   Now I rewatch only the scenes with Steven only and Steven-Tavia because their love story is so tragically beautiful plus they looked so beautiful in the series.

8/10 18:58  Friends asked me why I don't rebut negative news, ai! Have been in this industry for 18 years already, sometimes really feel weary. If want to hurt you there are hundreds of thousands of excuses. Not responding does not mean acquiescence or helplessness; likewise, responding does not mean will get justice! Frankly, sometimes deliberately hurting you is not always the media. Who's genuine, who's fake, who knows? Anyway it's enough that I know my friends won't! Forget it! (suen ba!) Be a genuine person, do well at work; just that by itself, I feel no regrets.

朋友问为何不反击负面报道，唉！干这行18年，有时也真感疲惫。要伤害你，总有千万个借口理由。不回应不代表承认或无能；回应也不代表能讨回公道！讲实在 点，立心伤害你的，有时不一定是媒体本身。谁真谁假谁人知？反正我相信我的朋友不会就夠了！算吧，做个真实的人好好工作我已觉无憾！
