Yes! Steven finally retired his overused shanghai bund medley. Though audiences are mostly different for each concert but yay to his finally revamping his song repertoire with new songs.

His security guards definitely worked hard for their money 'protecting' their subject from overzealous fans.

Putting aside the obvious safety issues, I'm of two minds about singers (not just Steven) shaking hands with fans on or off stage. On the one hand, singer-fans' physical interactions naturally induce and inject excitement into an already heightened, contagious atmosphere of anticipation   - exactly how a spirited and animated idol concert should be. On the other hand, the pandemonium caused can be/is disruptive to audience's overall enjoyment in that their view is being constantly and consistently blocked by the crowds pooling at the the stage (especially irksome to those who paid good money for premier seating). I myself was both irked and distracted by fans constantly rushing down from all directions toward the stage during a performance. But then what's an idol concert without these small bands of zealous fans whipping up excitement, eh? Yes, excitement heightens the atmosphere but can excitement be aroused without the said distractions during the performance? Maybe all physical interactions should be relegated towards the end of the concert? Quite a dilemma!

Wonder why Steven or Sandy did not give the heads-up for this upcoming concert so fans could make plans to attend?  Given the short notice, I myself won't be able to attend this as I have pre-arranged plans for that week. Too bad!

On a different topic, Steven can even visit this Cross of Christ that he has so wanted to see in person, and while at it, go skiing at the nearby ski resort.

Weibo June 9 Steven gave thanks for successful concerts

Steven thanks all those involved in making the concert a success.  Many thanks to Fallsview, Mango Productions, Carry  On band, and of course the awesome audience. And special thanks to his co-partner, Susanna, for a happy and successful collaboration. He hopes they will hold more concerts together soon, and most of all, to collaborate in a drama.

Check out the humongous signboard. No wonder the tickets on ticketmasters for both shows sold quickly. Congratz to Steven and Susanna.

Hopefully, Steven gets to visit the Niagara Falls in situ and not just admire it from afar and through a glass window, no less.

2015-06-06 21:04  Good morning! After breakfast, went jogging and then gym. Will go to rehearsal later! Toronto's weather is great. Heard both shows are sold out!  Give thanks! Hallelujah! P.S. Maybe lack of sleep, so today's double eyelids are very pronounced. Haha!

Steven and Lee Yi-Jun's (李翊君) 2 US concerts with 3 showings at 2 different locations in California, namely Harrah's and Cache Creek Resort, respectively.

Updated 3/30/ Harrah's concert is confirmed by Jade entertainment. Browsing the Cache Creek tickets site, not many seats are available for purchase.
Looks like, there is only one price for all seatings at US$118. Haiz! Steven, is there a reason for not giving your fans a head's up on your upcoming concerts?

ETA 3/27/2015 Well, Harrah's tickets are now on sale on ticketmaster. So, Steven's concert should be held at Harrah's instead of Pechanga as previously stated by Sandy Lau. May 9th 2015 (Sat) Mother's Day Concert @ 8 pm at Harrah’s Resort, Valley Center, CA. Ticket on sale 3/27 @ 10 am at Ticketmaster

Updated 3/30/2015: It's confirmed Harrah's not Pechanga is the venue of Steven's upcoming concert.

Per Sandy Lau's info: May 9th 2015 Mother's Day Concert is at Pechanga Resort and Casion, Temecula, CA. But I can't find Steven concert on its event listing. Sandy Lau's info left on SM FB says that Steven's May 9th concert is held at Pechanga Resort. So, not Harrah's as listed on Ticketmaster (tickets sale starts 3/27)? Confused, I called up Pechanga,and was told there's no SM concert scheduled at all at their place. Next, I called up Harrah's and was told there is indeed a confirmed Chinese concert scheduled on May 9th at their resort but has no info on who the performers are. So, either the venue has since changed per Sandy's info or Sandy made a mistake.  Revised 3/29: concert confirmed at Harrah's.

News Flash! June 2015 Steven Ma & Susanna Kwan Concert in Canada

Eta: So, I browsed the ticketmaster "buy on map" purchase. Mezzanine seats are NOT available for purchase on its site, with limited seats on the floor and balcony. Guess seats are blocked out to other agents/websites or direct order from the casino box office, or pre-ordered by local travel agencies?  So I called the posted phone# to find out. I actually got to talk to a live person. He told me that the tickets are going fast and that the 'unavailable seats' on ticketmaster website have been sold already, in any case, not many good seats left.
