Maggie was super excited to see Steven at the Heaven is for real premiere.  And Steven looked at her like  "what's the matter with you? " haha  Maggie was totally acting like a giddy girl around Steven, so happy she was to see him again. So did they meet each other there coincidentally or not?
Haha! Look at how Maggie "pounces" on Steven the second she sees him and surreptitiously checked out Steven's muscles. Haha! They are such old friends that she calls Steven as old friend who know each well that words are unnecessary. 好開心見到許久沒見又不需多言的老拍擋

Maggie Cheung, who is in Hengdian shooting the ancient drama, Lady Prime Minister, took advantage of her one day break to meet up with Steven Ma, who is also in Hengdian shooting his series, LOYEF, to play badminton.  Steven brought along with him two other expert badminton players with him to play double.  Steven said: She has the strokes because Maggie plays tennis.

Nancy Sit, Maggie Cheung Ho Yee, Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui (郑丹瑞) attended Steven's new book news release to show support.  A sheepish Steven said:"Maggie was here on time but I was 10 minutes late." Nancy taking time off from her filming a series could only stay a while but Steven was already grateful that she took time out from her busy schedule to support him here.

马仔出书获薛家燕写序！
一向都致力出版事业的马浚伟，昨日举行新书发布会，公布推出新作《马浚伟社会实录III——向好走向坏走》。马仔今次获教育统筹局常任秘书长罗范椒芬、香港青年协会总干事王易鸣、薛家燕、郑丹瑞及其母校校长为该本书撰写序。家燕姐、阿旦（郑丹瑞）及张可颐等好友出席撑场，令马仔非常开心，不过他想不到张可颐比他更早出现，所以感到不好意思，并向对方表示歉意。

拒做咸书商人
马仔透露2年前开出版社，到现在也不用蚀本，不过推出第1本书时失了预算，所以仍有不少存货，幸好在内地与一间出版商达成协议，把该本书的版权卖出，终可封蚀本门。马仔表示今次学精了，新书第1版先推出2000本，最近亦有其他公司为艺人接洽代为发行书本，他也会接受，更笑言唯一自己不做的是咸书商人。马仔称到内地拍戏後，发现内地艺人误以为香港艺人只讲名牌，他希望多些艺人出书，让内地演员知道香港演员一样有内涵。

Steven talks about Maggie Cheung Ho Yee

Steven shares his opinion on Maggie Cheung Ho Yee in a 2004 or 2005 (?) talk show.
The last time (2009?) Steven was asked who his best onscreen partner was, he chose Maggie. To these days, Steven and Maggie remain good friends, and they chat with each other on weibo.

Edited 2012: When they were both in Hengdian to shoot their respective tv series, they met up to play badminton.

Steven: ...It's very strange, on day five working together on Better Halves, we already understood each other very well. 

This scene is definitely for you, you should 发挥 flex your acting chops in here. Conversely, this scene is for me to flex mine. We didn't need to say it, (we knew)

Hostess: She truly gives off an impression of a strong personality

Steven: Her temperament is more forthright. But I got along fine with her. To me, she is a very genuine person. She doesn't know how to conceal her feelings

Hostess: Her temperament is very straightforward. A straightforward temperament can easily offend people

Steven: true

Hostess: Then, would you guys argue?

Steven: I wouldn't. You're blunt, doesn't mean I want to argue with you.

Hostess: So in what way is she blunt?

Steven: She being blunt is just on her own situation, I've never seen her deliberately provoked anybody.

Hostess: provoked?

Steven: She wouldn't make you angry. The requests she made were all concerning her part. Her personality is really very direct. If she is unhappy, she'll really show it on her face. But she is not angry at you. Just don't take it too personally and thought she was. Are you angry at me? And she's a woman, and to me, a woman with such a straightforward personality is quite lovable.

Hostess: No need to second guess, right?

Steven: right, no need to guess.

Hostess: and if she is too overly reticent, then won't even know whether she's happy or not; or what she wants.

Steven: Actually, I want to say something on my partner's behalf. I myself don't think her temper is all that bad. I really don't think so. On the contrary...like in our earlier series, when we did early morning shoots, sometimes she would buy breakfast for me, and of course I would do the same for her too. Sometimes when I was thirsty she would give me her drink. Here, you can have it first. To me, she is quite caring of other people. Well, I guess it all depends on whether there is affinity between two people.

haha!  No surprised that Steven would invite Dexter to his show. He and Dexter have become close since their collaboration on the stage show, Chinese Hamlet , few years back.  Very happy to see Maggie as one of the guests.

Personally, I prefer Steven inviting guests who are at least Chinese educated, as the questions are extremely difficult, no point inviting guests who do not have an educational foundation in the Chinese language.

马浚伟接演《秀才遇着兵2》 称和张可颐最默契

During his interview, Steven, who will replace Moses in an upcoming period drama, Gentle Crackdown 2, disclosed that if given the chance to choose his own character role, he would love to portray a schizophrenic or someone suffering depression. "Nowadays, there are many people afflicted with mental illness. I, myself, have many friends who are depressed or have had suffered depression. No matter how advanced the medical technology may be today, there is no device that can yet probe into mental patients' minds to study their thoughts. So, if such a role comes up, I would love the challenge of playing this kind of character." He said the role may greatly affect his moods, but nonetheless, he is still very keen to take up this challenge.

As a front line TVB siu sang who has acted in many series, which among his female co-stars would he pick as being the most compatible with him? "The most compatible co-star?  "I'd pick Maggie Cheung," said Steven. Why did he cast his vote on her? "She's a natural actress. And she slips into her role very quickly. Just three days into our collaboration, we had already figured out each other's acting style. How she would portray her character vs how I would portray mine; we just knew intuitively. We were very compatible. Afterwards, we were amazed; thereafter, we are always very complimentary of each other's acting."

[..]So what is Steven's outlook on love?
"I'm a person who don't fall in love easily but once I do it'll be difficult to part. This attribute is very similar to my tv character, Cao Zi. But Cao Zi is a very emotional person. I don't have Cao Zi's literary talent but I treasure life much more than him so I'm more rational than him."

Maggie Cheung entered the (tv) industry at age nineteen, crossing over through the thresholds of movie world and music world, respectively. Even though she once left this field to venture into other worlds including a dip in a 9-5 job, the title of Miss Hong Kong with the most acting potential awarded her pulled her back into it again. Because her Chan Bao Zhu’s portrayal was so realistic, her forehead was henceforth “embedded’ with these four gigantic words “natural born thespian”. (天生演员) However, only her acting potential flows into the entertainment world’s channel; her personality clashes with it.

“Better Halves” was not my first collaboration with Maggie. Two three years ago, we had already worked together in a movie called “When a Man Loves a Woman” (爱我别走).  My impression then was that this girl was very punctual, which is why I found the later disseminated news of her tardiness to work very perplexing.

We did not have much on screen interactions in the earlier movie, but in the tv series, we faced each other day in and day out. I noticed that this girl was not only very punctual but also possessed a rather straightforward personality.

One Friday afternoon, we arranged to meet at a certain restaurant in Clearwater Bay for a lunch interview. And sure enough, Maggie talked as she ate; seemingly enjoying both with much relish.
