TN: FYI, early in weibo when fans got worried on some of his more melancholic poems or poetic entries, Steven clarified that those entries were not necessarily based on his own feelings or experiences, past or present, but that they were written just for the pure joy of writing, that's all.  Steven sure has a poet and an artist inside him that enjoys beautiful writing and pictures and natural beauty.  Trivia pursuit: The last I know, Steven was (maybe still) is a member of a private HK poetry club.

6/30 15:59Today is Hong Kong's college entrance examination (A-level) results day. I have this to say to all students pursuing higher education: If did well with good results, naturally worth celebrating! However, if the results are below expectation, please do not give up!  Exam results are only a small part of life; did your best, no regrets.  The road ahead is very long with lots of opportunities awaiting you all! Plan carefully with friends and family on what kind of future road to take! Remember, the road and the light lie just ahead, don't be disheartened, add oil!

TN: I still remember the antsy days before my A-level exam results came out.  So nervous and full of anticipation.  And the actual day of the results was very climatic for me and family.

6/ 28 15:05  Went to an Italian restaurant to learn how to cook risotto, the ambiance was very beautiful, not bad!

 6/28 11:52  Today's Apprentice Chef, need to learn two types of dishing!  They are the traditional Italian rice (risotto?), Chow Chiu sweet and sour yi mien (yi noodles ?) .... and siu loong bao (diminutive dumplings)! Awesome!

tn: Just now, while I was sitting on my outdoor patio enjoying the weather and my back woods, I saw a red cardinal flitting around the tree, its  red underbelly is brilliantly stark red against the green of the trees.   In winter, red cardinal is such a joy to spot especially against the white of fresh snow.  Steven is also such a joy and inspiration to get to know because of his pleasures for simple things and his observant for  beauty.  Check out his next post which illustrates the child he keeps inside him so that he will never be jaded by life.

6/25 01:37 Goddaughter's 100th birthday banquet. The invited guests were all very happy, and me as the godfather even more so!  Heehee,  even though Ying Wah was probably clueless as to what we adults were doing but when she gets older and watch the video she will sure be happy! Once again congratulations to Ging gor and Jojo*,  wishing them everlasting love, and here's wishing Ying Wah's rapid growth, good health and happiness.    (tn: baby's hair such a hoot)
